Carolina fans everywhere are embracing the renewal of traditions and displaying their spirit for the kick-off of football season.

For the first time, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University have collaborated for trademark licensing agency representation.

Derek Lochbaum is the director of trademarks and licensing for the University which not only licenses all products with Carolina logos, but donates all net proceeds to student scholarships.

UNC-Chapel Hill’s Trademarks and Licensing office transferred $3,524,316 to the office of Scholarship and Financial Aid during the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
